Atomic Swing

Atomic Swing is a Swedish rock band that formed in the early 1990s and achieved its major breakthrough in 1993 with the debut album A Car Crash in the Blue. The band is best known for the hit single “Stone Me Into the Groove”, which gained popularity both in Sweden and internationally. Their music blends alternative rock with blues and psychedelic influences, often drawing inspiration from the sound of the 1960s and 1970s.

The band’s frontman and main songwriter, Niclas Frisk, played a key role in shaping Atomic Swing’s distinctive style through his expressive vocals and strong melodies. The group was also noted for its stylish image and confident attitude, becoming part of the wave of Swedish bands that found success beyond Sweden during the 1990s.
