Camping In A Ghost Town

Easy walking distance to the festival grounds

Camping In A Ghost Town is the official campsite of Nestorfest and is located directly next to the festival area in Folkets Park, Falköping. The campsite offers spaces for motorhomes, caravans (with the tow bar facing outwards, maximum width 6.5 meters), and tents. Party tents without side walls are permitted.

The campsite is run by the association Tomtens IF, who are responsible for the festival camping and take care of all guests. They also manage the available services, including changing rooms, showers, and toilets located in the school building on the site.

There is a shared barbecue area at the campsite, as well as additional toilets in the form of portable toilets. Unfortunately, electrical hookups cannot be provided, but water points are available within the area.

The campsite opens on Thursday, August 13 at 09:00. Entry before this time is not possible.

For entry to the campsite after 21:00, a camping wristband is required. From 2026 onwards, there will only be one shared entrance, where everyone must show a valid camping wristband. This is a safety measure to ensure everyone’s security. Camping wristbands are purchased upon arrival at the festival campsite.

It is not possible to reserve or choose specific spots within the campsite. Spaces are allocated as guests arrive, but you are guaranteed a spot within the area you have booked. If you have a motorhome longer than 12 meters, please contact us by email in advance.

Last year the campsite sold out, and as the festival continues to grow, we strongly recommend booking your camping spot as early as possible.

Motorcycles
We do not have a dedicated motorcycle camping area, but if you book tent camping, you are welcome to park your motorcycle in the designated area within our fenced grounds.

There is a total fire ban in effect, but there is a shared barbecue area at the campsite.

Each pitch is 6.5 meters wide to comply with fire safety regulations, maintaining 4 meters to the next vehicle. This means caravans are positioned with the tow hitch facing outwards, and motorhomes are placed with the front facing the road.

Awnings are not allowed; however, party tents without sides are welcome.
